That sounds already great.
Are the shadows coming, too?

Re: Very low FPS
Especially since OpenMW depends on software made by other people which this project can't improve significantly. Can you expand on that? Sounds like you've got some prior knowledge or had some prior discussion about this. I meant Bullet and maybe also OSG. There was a discussion about it, but it wa...

Re: Very low FPS
I know there were some recent performance improvements in the nightlies, you might try those. I thought, I had read that the nightlies were less performant, though that might have only applied to Ubuntu nightlies. Interesting, what performance improvement did they implement? :) But running on integ...

Nexusmods account re-validation
The Nexus mods site has decided to require accounts to be re-validated once a user hasn't logged in for 6 months. Re: Fog shader?
The fog shader might be another awesome addition to 0.46 or later. I'm hoping that it's getting merged sometime as something that you could turn on and off in the ini/launcher/or in-game.

Re: Can't wait for extensive dehardcoding!
I think so, but don't hold your breath. You should be content with what OpenMW does now and use it for what it is. Or contribute code if you can. The little bits that are missing for 1.0 may still take years. (I remember that even the project leader expected a 1.0 release by the end of 2016. https:/...

Re: Skipping the 0.45 release?
After such a long time, you shouldn't wait for release videos to be completed. They are nice, but waiting for a video at this point seems like a bad idea to me (especially when you are not going to release shadows).

Re: Elder-scrolls IV Oblivion
This looks like much more than first steps! (Unless you are already aiming for facial animations.)
