Okay, I'm sorry. I don't know why I didn't have the right version - I'm pretty sure that's my fault anyway - but you're right. And now it works fine.

It's possible that some mods with special characters like that could work fine but I'm sure the one that had this alert had "é" and "ï" in it. Now I changed them all to basic letters and I don't encounter this problem anymore.

I tried both, the original esp and a save from OpenMW-CS of this exact same esp. The result is the same.
