Best way to keep track of individual objects?

Hi all, I've been working on a project based on OpenMW, and I'm wondering the best way to keep track of references that might travel between cells a lot. I've been messing with AI schedules (engine side not script side), so the NPCs have been travelling to and fro cells a lot more than intended in M...

Re: [WIP] Android port testing

Samsung phones have the game tuner option, which lets you set custom resolutions. Not sure if that'l help here but it might be a start.

Hi, I am trying to change the hitfader texture for my game. I can edit the texture from MW in gimp, and I can make it any color I want (tried green and blue). I can make it gray too. But, if it is black, it just appears as totally see through in game. Any suggestions how to get around this? Think it...

Moving objects in an absolute direction?

Hi all, I've been playing with the object motion code. Right now I want to make an object move in a certain direction, regardless of the orientation of the object. Queuemovment makes objects move relative to their direction, but I want to state an absolute direction to move in. Do I need to write a ...

Resources and hints for understanding "duration"?

Hi everyone, I need some help understanding the concept of "duration" used in OpenMW. A lot of the core gameloop functions take duration as a parameter, or read from a duration member variable. This is to help with the timing of things regardless of frame rate, right? How might I go about wrapping m...

Re: [patch] new fog shader

The shaders are just txt files anyone can edit, so even if OP has moved on someone could poke at the code. I might find time over holiday break, we shall see.

Moon and star license?

Hi all,

I was curious about the Moon and Star icon used for OpenMWs executable and in the launcher. Was it licensed from Beth? I find the IP technicalities of OpenMW very interesting!
