Re: Move RTD docs to separate repo

The current system isn't working for people. Can you clarify? I thought it was mostly about images and binary content? I meant that it's not working as a process because we aren't able to add the content we want to effectively convey information. Sorry for making that ambiguous to seem as though it...

Re: Move RTD docs to separate repo

The current system isn't working for people. While the proposed system isn't ideal (notably, it might result in documentation becoming out of sync with code), it seems like a better alternative to what we currently have. Unless someone comes up with a better solution, I'm fine with going with this o...

I figure this is a good start on developing a better user feedback system, with an eye towards various improvements in the future.
Would you consider moving your code to GitHub/GitLab, that way improvements can come in the form of code enhancements, rather than solely from user feedback?

Re: Is there a better way to document mod compatibility?

Having ModdingOpenMWdotcom become the "official" list of OpenMW mod compatibility would be awesome! I think that would be able to do things better than anything we could do on the GitLab wiki. I agree though: some way to submit mod reports would probably be necessary.

Re: How to use the testing settings in launcher?

Gotcha, I'm on a Mac so I can't help you there.

If you file a bug, we can tag it with "Needs Research".

Got it to work now. I need to specify the file path myself.

However, clicking browse and choosing your txt file doesnt work. Instead I have to specify the file path myself.
Which platform are you on? You should probably file a bug if that’s not working at all.

Re: OpenMW 0.44.0

The release video looks great! This optional feature was modelled after the corresponding Morrowind Code Patch option and drastically decreases the value of filled soul gems. Maybe indicate somehow that the Morrowind Code Patch is a popular, but unofficial fan project? I don't know that everyone is ...

Mac RCs: needs testing
I tested the Mac build a few days after it was posted, and it was working fine.

Re: Help us plan OpenMW's future

This is definitely getting off topic. It’s probably best to start a new thread about reverse engineering plugin bytecode, or to debate the merits of a Python as a programming language for doing that reverse engineering.
