Re: Fatal Error

I can't be much help on the technical side, but the script looks like Arabic, in case that's a useful lead for tracking down the problem.

Does it do that in vanilla Morrowind?
That's what I meant, yes. It absolutely does.

Re: Absolutely stellar work on 0.47.0

There is also a regression of the Corprus Cure, again. I got my character cured right away, so the drained attributes were fully restored, as they should be, but STR and END were also set back to their previous values (of 100 for END). In Morrowind, the player keeps the one-point buf until they are...

Re: New forum software?

I'll just weigh in on this real quick -- I find it incredibly obnoxious when asterisks don't stay asterisks, because occasionally I just want some asterisks, damn it. BBcode is easy to remember by comparison for someone who isn't always dealing with Markdown, as well. I also would strongly object to...

Re: OpenMW 0.47.0 Released!

One issue though none of the Linux releases appear to be updated to 0.47!! Just check the downloads links. It's even worse with distro repositories, ubuntu's is still 0.45.. Hey, at least the PPA has been keeping up nicely, including the daily PPA, so if you want a perpetually-up-to-date OpenMW on ...

Re: Sotha Sil Expanded

Hi, Sorry in advance for resurrecting this 2-year old thread. I'm planning to install SSE with OpenMW and wanted to ask if the corrections by Capostrophic are present in the current 0.46 version (or 0.47 preview) or is it necessary to use the aforementioned patch. Replying very late, sorry about th...

Re: Anyway to detect if player is lockpicking?

One problem with the GetSoundPlaying method -- no sound plays when you use a lockpick on a door that isn't locked. I don't think the game considers it a valid target at all. (Source: I just went in-game and checked.) For unlocking, it could work, but for locking, you're stuck with OnActivate for the...

Re: Every Lock "Too Difficult"

Interesting. Now that we know which file it was, I'm going to go check what all changes it makes and report back with an edit to this post. Then we can figure out exactly what the problem was. The answer is probably that we directed you to the wrong thing to edit in the mod file, so I'd like to see ...

Re: Every Lock "Too Difficult"

If you want to find the culprit without disabling a bunch of mods and messing with your load order (if it's really large, for example), making a mod like DestinedToDie said, specifically with the relevant GMST "modified" but set to default anyway (in other words, change it, then manually s...

Re: Only official ESMs loading

The content file section of the cfg doesn't have quotes around the plugin names, and the first one after the official ESMs has a space in its name. Could that be the problem? Because based on the log, it's loading the directories, but not the files, despite the files being listed in the proper place...
