Re: Per-slot armor rating

That's the position where the hit box intersects the NPC's capsule collision shape. That would be enough for me. The problem is that is true only for ranged combat. For melee combat that position is somewhere INSIDE target capsule. That is a quite weird. Anyway, I uploaded the prototype for limb de...

Also, I haven't tested if it builds, and I wouldn't be suprised if it doesn't. Testing welcome.

Only thing I have noticed is that it caused a crash in my game emanating from CharacterController::updateCarriedLeftVisible within apps/openmw/mwmechanics/character.cpp from the line you changed.
Should be fixed now.
And I suppose this feature needs some refactoring anyway.

Re: Swift Cast

I managed to get a working prototype of this feature: https://github.com/akortunov/openmw/tree/swiftcasting
This feature is togglable and disabled by default:

Code: Select all

[Game]
swift casting = true

Re: OpenMW 0.44.0

With the OSG fork everything runs fine, but the minute I switch over to OSG 3.6 and recompile OpenMW, it causes a segfault going all the way down into my Mesa driver How did you try to rebuild it? I got a similar segfault when I tried to do a partial rebuild (run "make" on existing build), but 3.6 ...

Re: Fix The Lady Lover and Steed Birthsigns

We already discussed this issue: https://forum.openmw.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4819 In original game these birthsigns are pretty useless after level 10-20: In Morrowind birtsign bonuses are added to the base parameter value instead of modified. A bit useless, as for me: In Morrowind values are capped...

Re: Pink SCREEN!

You can use driconf to force S3TC support detection. For Windows 7? IIRC, driconf is for DRI (a part of X11). in your opinion what would be the best way to do so? Is there a website I can go to to reinstall my driver? Determine a model of your videocard (e.g. via Device Manager, under Display Adapt...

Re: Pink SCREEN!

And how do I find the logs? Only thing I can find close to that in my openmw file is changelog. https://wiki.openmw.org/index.php?title=Paths Your openmw.log should be located in C:\Users\{UserName}\Documents\My Games\OpenMW folder. This file should contain some info about what is going wrong. and ...
