Re: OpenMW 0.37.0 (?)
Thanks for the F3 tip, now I can see my FPS How's your FPS, by the way? Around 15 - 20 outdoors and around 100 indoors (iMac early 2009, Nvidia GeForce 9400M). I have been wanting to build myself a Hackintosh for months now, but I can never really take the first step. I always keep thinking "if...

Re: Daggerfall on OpenMW?
I wouldn't ramp up the expectation. He's been clear that currently he's not likely to see it through to completion although it is a very handy start. Sure, but whatever he gets done will be better than what we have now, which is nothing. And with the source someone could pick it up later if Chris a...

Re: Daggerfall on OpenMW?
Chris, if you can pull this off you will be a hero forever. I always wanted to play Daggerfall, but when I boot it up in DOSBox I get through Privateer's Hold and then lose interest because of many of the small things (interface, mouse acceleration, everything looking the same, ...) which could be s...

Re: Where to define default color value
Like in Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer, when you enter the plane of shadows everything in black and white, except for your party and your spells. Basically anything that's not from the plane of shadows. Would be really cool to have a sort of "dead world" where only the player a...

Re: OpenMW 0.37.0 (?)
Technically Windows 7 is Windows 7, it's just running the (Windows) NT 6.1 kernel. Similarly, Windows 8 is running the NT 6.2 kernel. So no, they didn't break versioning, even though they made entirely new OSes. They just chose to name the releases differently than their kernel version. Thanks, tha...

Re: OpenMW 0.37.0 (?)
Version 1.0 in semantic versioning does not mean that it is incompatible with version 0.x, it means that from version 1.0 on compatibility is guaranteed for all 1.x releases. Version 0.x releases on the other hand are to be considered unfinished software, so compatibility could break between 0.x and...

Re: OpenMW 0.37.0 (?)
If I recall correctly OpenMW follows semantic versioning: http://semver.org The major number is only incremented when compatibility changes, the minor number when a new feature is added and the patch number when a new release makes no user-visible changes, only bugfixes. In addition, version 0.x.x m...
