Re: New OpenMW-CS Icons

Thank you for the explanation, things are clear now. It did seem odd to have a mix of topics and sub-topics all in one table. Only four icons are needed then:

*Topics
*Topics Infos
*Journal
*Journal Infos

I'll be on holidays until Wednesday so I'll only be able to provide the icons later next week.

Re: New OpenMW-CS Icons

Right, I see the entries and their icons now. If I understand correctly: Topics are a category of "hooks" for NPC dialogues. There are 4 types (Topic, Persuasion, Greeting, Voice) Topic Infos are texts that are shown in NPC dialogues after selecting a particular Topic. Multiple topic infos can be ev...

Re: Terrain Editing

The screenshots look promising! I agree with Zini on that terrain editing would benefit greatly from design work first. What tools are needed / expected by artists to comfortably work on terrains? Off the top of my head there would need to be these very basic tools: * Raise / lower * Smooth / sharpe...

Re: New OpenMW-CS Icons

I'm also confused, where those icons should fit. I made the list of needed icons by exploring OpenMW-CS and from the existing files in master.
Checking again, I don't see journals and topics icons in CS. Do we then even need them included?

Re: New OpenMW-CS Icons

Alright, here are the remaining icons. Not as polished as I'd like, but I think they work well enough and they complete the set. There are no source .blend files for the brushes or lighting yet, as they went from prototype in GIMP straight to being an icon. I'll provide those in due time for complet...

Re: GUI improvements

Intriguing! The spell list can indeed get very, very long and such a feature is welcome. Perhaps only, this filtering method is rather command-line-like, and filtering by other methods, by spell effect or similar, would be more game-convenient-like?

Re: OpenMW 0.43.0

You're right, of course. I tend to being a bit negative in the videos in general -- maybe some kind of overcompensation in regards to many other videos you can watch on YouTube. I didn't get a negative feeling from any of your videos, they're all light-hearted and easy to watch. It's just that part...

Re: OpenMW 0.43.0

@Atahualpa: Great work on the videos! Two comments I have: One is on the OpenMW-CS video. At one point you mention how the editor is unpopular for contributors (or along those lines), which sounds negative. It'd sound better with something like "the editor doesn't attract as many developers". The se...

Re: Transparent Object Markers

At least the variant you are showing there for rotation would be unnecessary hard to grab. But I am not opposed to the idea in general. It was a quick idea where the solution used for translation and scale could be used for rotation, though I'm not convinced by it either. When I first went through ...
