Re: OpenMW 0.44.0

Spring has arrived - and OpenMW still lacks a new version release. I guess we are still waiting for AnyOldName3 to finish work on his shadow branch? If so, when will this feature be ready for release? (Ready as in "complete, merged, and tested".) Looking at the current roadmap, we have 66 solved iss...

Re: New OpenMW-CS Icons

I still can't find the icons for selection modes (centred cube, cube corner to corner, centred sphere), but new set is indeed more complete. Yes, according to Lamoot's user page , these three are still missing. @Lamoot? Anyway, I agree with you, lysol and unelsson: We should consider using this ico...

Re: Replace github forks with github stars

Not that I had ever noticed this button in the first place, but: Why not have both the "fork" and the "star" button?
Seems like a very minor change to me.

Hm, sounds like we'll need a release video for this one. 8-)

Re: Can we make sure the release process includes getting a new video on this site's Media page?

Maybe our media page could just link to our Youtube channel? So it's always up to date? Or is having the videos embedded here more effective? What do you guys think? I think that embedded videos are more effective (the YouTube channel is linked in the text anyway). @lysol: If you want to maintain t...

Small change, big impact! Thanks, lgro (and, of course, Thunderforge for his initiative). :)

Re: OpenMW 0.43.0 Released!

Looking at the road map and the 1.0 progress it says we are only 6% there, or am I looking at it wrong? What lysol wanted to tell you is that the 1.0 progress you see at our bug tracker only covers the remaining tasks which have yet to be tackled. Every time someone starts working on a task, they w...

Re: OpenMW 0.44.0

Feature #3537: Water ripple vfx This I may look at, I've already been thinking about it. [...] That would be great! Your concept sounds feasible too -- although I'm not very familiar with that kind of stuff. I'd be surprised if shadows weren't done before 0.44 releases, and expect them to be done b...

Re: OpenMW 0.44.0

And if not, what features *can* we get in? Having a bugfix-only release will be a little discouraging. In case there are any volunteers, what about these features? Feature #1645: Casting effects from objects Feature #2772: Non-existing class freezes the game Feature #3083: Play animation when NPC i...

Re: Testers for a New Graphic Herbalism mod

I'm curious: What keeps you from downloading the recent 0.43 release, installing OpenMW and testing the mod yourself? Anyway, if you provide the mod files, you'll most certainly find some testers for your mod. Finally, where should I put my mod for testers to use? If there is no place here, I could ...
