Visual Studio is blazing fast with PCH. I hope that I could enable it some day, it is not so complicated, but before we need to improve header files separation a bit.

There are also scripts which rely on game paused, not mentionning the use of inventory to look for potions in the middle of a fight ...

We don't have any binaries for Watcom, we would need to build all dependencies, and the setup is probably different (not even sure that CMake could run on it).

I didn't test under Mingw, but I can give it a try. There's the risk with too high multipliers to have issues with collision as the mesh becomes too loosy, but no idea where to put the limit though :/
