Re: Lysol's normal mapped texture packs

cool stuff. i always keep an original copy of a texture on my base layer and hide or show it as i need until i get to the point i no longer need one. it helps a lot. another tip that helps with the different details is to clip each portion into its own layer, and clear everything around it, then you...

Re: Idea for openmw launcher load order functionality

Re: Openmw CS

Re: Openmw CS

ok, got it installed, i just have one thing i am not sure about, i am guessing this is running in virtualbox or something, just from reading in the settings menu of the CS, but is there a way to get it to render in a more compatible way with my OS? when i open a scene of a location to view it, like ...

Re: Openmw CS

Did you uninstall (apt-get purge) all openmw(*) packages, update (apt-get update) and re-install like I asked? :) Update: I just tested on Ubuntu 14.04 (Trusty) in virtualbox without a problem, so the problem is on your side. well i didnt see the purge part in the first reply. but it was the openmw...

Re: Idea for openmw launcher load order functionality

I gave you step-by-step instructions and all you had to say that they were not sufficient. I cannot clarify without you specifying what is missing. So, once again: 0) The Mod folder must satisfy a few conditions: Any ESPs must be in the toplevel of said folder. The same goes for folders which would...

Re: Openmw CS

Sounds like you're mixing and matching. Ubuntu (trusty) has their own version of the openmw packages (0.36 I think, along with wily and xenial, yeah...), older than what is on the PPA. Uninstall all the existing packages, update (with PPA) and then try install openmw, openmw-launcher and openmw-cs....

If so I've introduced a bug, or at least inconsistent behaviour. e.g. content= lines do get removed EDIT: not so fast - looks like there is some special code for that (rather than a bug) - see around line 120 // Don't remove existing data entries if (key != QLatin1String("data")) settings...

Re: Idea for openmw launcher load order functionality

An "add folder" button would do little to solve that, since you could easily move around or rename the folder afterwards, which means you'd still be managing your folders manually. Besides, if you're a semi-intelligent user, you have been copypasting the lines into the config file from th...

Openmw CS

i recently tried to get the CS from my package manager, but it wants to uninstall the launcher and engine and data because they are not trusty and the CS is, even though they all are the same 3.8 whatever build. if i click ok, then it marks them for removal but doesnt indicate it will replace them w...
