FYI: the guy just put out a big update. May want to check in again if you're interested.

Re: (Post 1.0 feature) Randomly-generated dungeons in-game

I imagine it would be a script attached to the door, which selects from a set of different interiors. The shuffle idea is kind of interesting, although you'd still end up having the same set of dungeons, they'd just be in different places. This is actually probably possible in vanilla, just maybe no...

Re: Water shaders, OpenMW vs MGEXE

A bit late to the party, but I generally approve of the changes that are being made. For inspiration on really great looking water, I've always loved the Anno 1404 water . It's a bit of a different use case than OpenMW, but I think the transparency near shore in that game is pretty spot on. I think ...

Re: Images

If the images are part of the documentation, why wouldn't they be versioned alongside the text? I was thinking about this too, especially if the wiki might live in a separate repo itself. AnyOldName3 brings up the problem with this though. If you add relevant documentation to something, it should b...

Re: Is there a better way to document mod compatibility?

I'll address the more tangential parts of this before getting back to the main subject of documenting mod compatibility. We should probably move the recently-added documentation on this ("So you want to help with documentation?", to which I am currently adding GitLab integration, as discussed elsewh...

Re: Images

I remember the discussion and recall not coming to a decision lol. On the subject of hosting: At first glance, I feel like external hosting service would be best. I don't really see much benefit to having a Git*** repo containing them over an external host (just that we all have accounts already?). ...

Re: The Future of OpenMW Scripting

Content creator's perspective. I don't really care what language we use because I'm going to have to learn it basically from scratch anyway. Maybe what would help is identifying why we didn't like OldScript to begin with. Part of it was error checking, but that's going to be taken care of no matter ...

Wiki migration

Due to the very hard work by psi29a and I'm sure several of the other devs, we now have a nice unified platform for contributing on GitLab. Part of what still needs to be done is migrating the wiki! This is going to be a huge pain to do manually, but I know psi29a said there was going to be difficul...

Re: Game Files Installation

So it goes to the CD and pulls the data files directly from it? I figured it would launch into a separate setup, which would require the .exe. That does sound useful then, at least to those with the CD lol.

Re: Game Files Installation

Oh ya, I forgot that's how you started helping out with the project! I remember liking the new workflow, and it would probably be good to get sorted out pre-1.0 to help with the influx of novice users once we reach that milestone. Currently I just find it unacceptable that there are (it sounds like)...
