Re: OpenMW 0.44.0

Ran around and killed stuff for about 40 min on the 64-bit Win RC2. Didn't notice any problems.

Re: Heads up...

As long as you don't think it will be too hard to maintain, sounds like a great idea! My only hesitation is this makes it more likely that people will send duplicate questions since it's via email. Part of the benefit of the forum is the whole thread is visible to everyone so people can see if someo...

Thanks for everyone's hard work! I think this will be a really good change.

Re: New Font Implementation

It's just that OpenMW currently does it at the unscaled resolution then scales them up instead of using the eventual resolution in the first place. Sorry, meant to imply this, not bash the devs! This should eventually be migrated to our docs section so it can be rendered on RTD. (TODO/HELP) Already...

Re: New Font Implementation

There are two TrueType fonts available that replace the original fonts; one for the standard text and one for Daedric. Is that what you're looking for? I thought that OpenMW doesn't currently use them properly. Doesn't OpenMW generate bitmaps from those TT fonts. I remember it being a problem with ...

Re: Heads up...

Apparently a lot has happened since the power to my apartment went out! People need to stop crashing their cars into power lines. A news post would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for all this hard work to help keep people contributing to the project. Just to be clear, if we don't have a preference o...

Re: Needed documentation areas

I was not! The site actually looks like it was put together really well. It's too bad they didn't spend the time to improve our official docs, but the scope is very different than what we want to provide. I'm sure it will be very helpful to many users, perhaps we should link there in the wiki. Quick...

Re: Needed documentation areas

Hmm, that's what I thought. Are you seeing what I'm seeing? The font in lists is significantly larger than surrounding paragraph style.

Needed documentation areas

I'm starting a new job in a few weeks, but will have some time off until then, so I figured it would be a good time to tackle some more of the documentation. I would prefer people use the Documentation sub forum for these kinds of requests in the future, but figured I'd ask here for higher visibilit...

Re: The Future of OpenMW Scripting

Based on everything said so far, here’s how I see where things stand. The only advantage to B is that it’s faster than C. C should have a cleaner codebase and the conversion feature can be maintained separately from the main OpenMW codebase apart from the newscript functions it converts to. Therefor...
