Re: Logic and (&&) is unsupported?

You already run that risk with regular Morrowind mods that require MWSE and other script extender based mods for the later games. Once you allow arbitrary code, you're allowing arbitrary code. If a user wants to download malicious software, I would be surprised if OpenMW was the one thing standing b...

Re: Logic and (&&) is unsupported?

This is usually the bit where I mention that adding Mono support would be nice as we'd immediately get support for lots of languages with good interoperability, and if we did a comparatively small amount of work to make MWScript compile to .NET bytecode, they'd all interoperate with that, too. Once ...

Re: [WIP] Android port testing

I bricked my phone in the process of upgrading to Android 5 and then downgrading to 4.4.2 when I realised that the upgrade had gone horribly wrong. I'm counting the lack of support for ancient Android versions as a potentially device-killing bug... even if it's entirely LG's fault for coming up with...

Re: [WIP] Android port testing

I got a parse error when trying to install the APK. This was on an LG g2 running android 4.2.

Re: OpenMW on android flipped textures

You're a little late to the party with that. Someone else has already posted the link.

I'm wondering if it might be sensible to link it from the wiki index, though. When I originally brought it up, I did check the wiki index to see if it was there and then decided it probably wasn't on the wiki.

Re: Per-slot armor rating

The later Elder Scrolls games don't have locational damage, and indeed don't even have enough body parts for it to be added nicely as a mod. The Fallout games on the same engine do, though. It's a critical part of VATS and is in the original games, so Bethesda would not have been clever if they remo...

Re: Optimizer Textures question

Sandstranger wishes to no longer be associated with the project, so I assume what's happening here is that he's editing all of his posts.

Re: OpenMW on android flipped textures

There's a couple of potential issues with removing you completely from everything. Firstly, if we ever need to relicense OpenMW (for example because a bug/loophole in the GPL means it needs changing or because it turns out to be incompatible with something we want to support, much like how Dolphin E...

Re: OpenMW on android flipped textures

The S3TC patent expired, so there are no issues with texture decompression anymore. Provided you're using a recent enough build of OSG (either from their master branch or our fork) there's even the option to decode DTX compressed textures in software.

Re: OpenMW on android flipped textures

I'm pretty sure we didn't need to remove the screenshots from the first post of this thread after rereading that. Hosting a few screenshots of a bug in a development thread isn't really making Morrowind the poster child of OpenMW on Android, after all.
