Re: OpenMW 0.39.0
What were you having compatibility issues with? I've only ever had problems with really ancient peripheral drivers, and usually these things only work with software that requires a Windows 98 VM anyway. Most of Windows' dominance of the desktop and laptop market is because Microsoft tend to avoid br...

Re: OpenMW 0.39.0
May I ask you guys to delay the release for another two days? Fine by me, but I'm not the final authority! Impressed that you are doing editing on that rig, and capture as well? You're squeezing everything you can out of your machine! I do all of this on that particular PC. Well, my system specs ar...

Re: Fullscale Game Rebalance Manifesto
One thing that might help is if there was a single main mod setup that everyone started off with and aimed to cover most things. Skyrim has STEP, which doesn't quite do that, but when modding New Vegas, everything I saw seemed to direct me to following EssArrBee's Fear And Loathing guide, and that a...

Re: Save importer not opening?
As no-one's given the actual answer yet as to why it's doing that, I'll chip in. When you open a command line application, its window only remains until it's finished doing stuff. By just double clicking it, you're opening it without any arguments, so it's probably just printing some help text and q...

Re: MSVCR100.dll error
Usually it's a very bad idea to just go downloading DLL files off random websites and putting them in places. It's much more sensible to just install whichever VS redistributable the DLL is officially supplied in.

Re: Elder-scrolls IV Oblivion
It's not necessarily that it'd just need a procedural tree generator, but that it produces similar trees to those in vanilla Oblivion. For example, it might be the case that there's a narrow canyon with trees in it that relies on the trees being a very specific shape in order to make something eithe...

Re: [WIP] The Forgotten Release Commentaries
I think gmail gives bounce back messages when you email a nonexistent address, so it shouldn't be too hard to test which of those is real (provided no one's made the other one, either as part of the project, or because they wanted to impersonate the project or thought it sounded cool).

Re: Manual & Icons
In my experience, LaTeX is a lot easier in TeXstudio than anything else I've tried, as it has really good error correction, so you can write something resembling what you want, and get a load of errors, but still end up with the output you intended. This is a non-solution when people ask for the sou...

Is this a forum in which is frowned upon to type some upwards arrows followed by the word 'this'?

Re: OpenMW featured on Niche Gamer
The problem I see with these terms is that the people most vocally describing themselves as feminists are total nutters or people trying to exploit money out of said nutters, and the people most vocally describing themselves as egalitarian are often sexist males who've read too much into the 'radica...
