Re: OpenMW Template art

I like the green as well. That way, we also have all three of RGB colors represented. I do not think it fits very well with all of the stats. For example, the green four leaf clover is the perfect color choice. But a green fist makes less sense. I think coloring the fist red would be a better fit, b...

Re: Random landtexture rotation

Interesting. Didn't some Morrowind land textures actually look obviously tiled, like the _land_base texture? I think there may be some application to Morrowind itself.

Re: OpenMW mod to disable all NPC/creature respawning?

I think you have to edit all the creature records themselves. They have a little respawn checkmark on them.

Re: Using Bliaron 2nd Ed. material for example suite

DestinedToDie, are you okay with all this change or are you maybe wanting to have this be an alternate Example Suite? Thoughts? Ok, maybe there's some context missing from unellson's post so I'll just quote him and then expand upon what he said a little bit. There was some talk about Example Suite ...

Re: Fallout : New Vegas ?!?

Can we have more informations on that ? I suppose. Have you seen this video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7V-IUN9UrU But to explain a bit further. Back when Scrawl was doing the switch from Ogre3D to OSG rendering software, cc9cii started his own little project where he tried to make OpenMW loa...

Re: Microsoft buys Bethesda... What does it mean for OpenMW?

It raises a question about recreating with OpenMW other 3d-rpgs. For example, VtM - Bloodlines (last attempt, Project Vaulderie, was shut down by Activision). The vampire masquerade project was very different from OpenMW, in that it was a remake of someone's Intellectual Property while OpenMW is no...

Re: Microsoft buys Bethesda... What does it mean for OpenMW?

Don't think it means much for OpenMW. It's more interesting to ponder about what it means for Bethesda itself. Big company merging into an even bigger company. The Bethesda Softworks part of it that makes TES and Fallout games has been underperforming for some time. They made Skyrim in 2011 and sure...

Re: Using Bliaron 2nd Ed. material for example suite

- magic items have conditions when the spells are active (this requires some scripting capabilities probably) - effects that alter the statistics of the target character I thought of giving the player abilities, like the knight ability, which fortifies block, long blade and heavy armor by 5. And gi...

Re: Using Bliaron 2nd Ed. material for example suite

One thing that has came to my mind is porting this to OpenMW, but it probably requires forking the main branch into a custom branch, but can you think of which of these are missing, but would be useful for the OpenMW's spell engine itself? A bit unrelated. But I always wanted to have enchantments t...
