Re: Mac Visual Issues

Guys, stop suggesting the gamma setting. If they can't get at them through the options then they won't work. What you want to do for now is adjust your monitor or display profile's contrast or gamma that way. Or find a way to tell the OS that OpenMW is rendering with a weird color profile, and that ...

The real reason is that in the vanilla data format, dialog records cannot exceed 512 bytes!
Why do you think they did that?

Re: Head bobbing

There's no bobrate limiting as it would get out of sync with the footstep sounds. That's not better than having everything onscreen flicker back and forth randomly at at min(fps, refreshrate), which can trigger people with sensory sensitivity problems, like myself (though it's not epilepsy, it's re...

The "continue" button is an outdated design pattern that only makes sense for tiny displays or people who don't expect the dialogue window to be flooded with ten paragraphs. It's like flipping between different textboxes in a multi-textbox dialogue in a console game, but without the ability to butto...

Re: Head bobbing

Oh yeah, weapon sway is a pretty integral part of viewbob not looking janky. In fact it's probably the most important part. Also, some games make the view "crunch" or "spring" when you land from jumps.

Re: Head bobbing

I'd definitely go with the latter option, a cfg setting that mods can't override. IMO, it should also only apply when the actor the camera is attached to is on the ground (i.e. not swimming, levitating, or no-clipping). Isn't it technically possible for custom animations to add head bobbing right n...
