Re: Wiki page for Mods
Is everyone testing mods by just running the single mod and playing a lot? I'm asking because I'd like to contribute in some way to this project if I can.

Re: Does Overhaul Work with Mac?
Interesting. I'd try it, but I'm not sure I'm willing to pay for the actual OS that I would be running in VirtualBox just for graphical improvements. Morrowind is a good game no matter how it looks. Though I don't mind a little sweat to see if I can make it look prettier :D There isn't some way of r...

Overhaul Mac
Have any mac users figured out a way to use MGO (Morrowind Graphics Overhaul)? I've tried running the installer in Wine and it simply will not work. Any idea on how to get around this? Thoughts?

Re: load order, the openMW way
I actually did figure it out. Fortunately, it was just a stupid mistake on my part in that I wasn't looking at the right Library folder. There are two apparently, both have preference folders, but only one of those has the openmw directory containing the openmw.cfg. So I did figure it out and was ab...

Re: Unable to Install Mods
I figured it out. After opening up the launcher .cfg, I noticed that it still routed to a folder in library/preferences. So I checked again and it wasn't there. Then I wondered if I was getting to the folder the wrong way or perhaps the wrong folder. I searched specifically for the library through t...

Re: Unable to Install Mods
Hi there, I just downloaded and unpacked the mod, added following line to my openmw.cfg (one in ~/Library/Preferences/openmw, it's generally not a good idea to edit one shipped with the application): That seems to be one of the problems. I created a new folder for Preferences because there was no f...

Unable to Install Mods
Let me preface this by saying that I have been able to install mods by simply putting the files in the data files folder. Once they started to conflict with each other, I remembered there was an easier way just for the engine. So I tried and looked into it and failed. I messed around so much that th...

Re: load order, the openMW way
I appreciate the help you gave though. I may try reinstalling everything just to see if that changes everything.

Re: load order, the openMW way
Yes, I've played Morrowind in OpenMW, saved and loaded the game, even run mods by dropping files in the data directory. I have no idea why this isn't working.dEnigma wrote:Did you start OpenMW at least once?

Re: load order, the openMW way
I have no openmw folder in my preferences. Was I supposed to put that there manually or was it supposed to install?dEnigma wrote:Here are the paths to the configuration files: https://wiki.openmw.org/index.php?title=Paths
