Re: Feedback on 0.46.0
Lastly, the Win64 installer from the GitHub releases tried restarting my computer without asking when it finished, an instant before the part where it shows the Run OpenMW checkbox. That seems wrong... Oh damn! That happened on my PC as well but I blamed a parallel Windows update for it. Maybe, for...

Re: Can we see outside from interior cells please?
If we stick with the portals approach to inner/outer mismatch: https://forum.openmw.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6167 ...you could probably make this work with something as simple as a manual mapping from inside to outside windows. There would probably be exceptions where there's no logical window ma...

That's my understanding.GreyGoldFish wrote: ↑11 Dec 2019, 17:01 So, in order to be perfectly clear, if I fork the repository and manage to add support for OpenXR, that would be GPL compatible and could probably be merged into master, correct?

Re: Portals to interiors (post 2.0 feature)
Hasn't a lot of research gone into this for VR stuff? I recall reading some articles about tricking people into thinking they're turning and moving more/less than they actually are. I'm sure there are some differences since that has to do with tricking your body to feel something based on actual mo...

Re: Portals to interiors (post 2.0 feature)
That's a really great idea. If the interiors don't perfectly align with exteriors, you need some sort of non-Euclidean space to make a seamless 3D world work without redesigning everything, and portals are probably the most reasonable solution.

Re: Oculus Rift

It seems to be the leading candidate for an industry VR standard. From what I've heard the guys over at Dolphin are waiting for it to o...
