CMake refuses to find OSG on Debian testing

I'm having a problem with the recommended way to compile OMW. I am on Debian testing 64bit. That is, I cloned both open-mw and the openmw-specific version of osg. When running cmake on osg, I get the following warning: The build system is configured to install libraries to /usr/local/lib64 Your appl...

Re: Delay 1.0 untill all of MWSE is implemented

Re: Cultural learnings of the Internet.

I agree. I think we're just starting from a different default state, where in your explanation a society with rules is the default, whereas I view that as a necessary deviation from the default state of anarchy. As an anarchist (as in "I think institutionalized hierarchies are dangerous")...

Cramal wrote: It also has been stated, that 1.0 could only happend when no bug remain.
So, OpenMW would be another open source project never reaching version 1.0?

Re: can I use Wrye Mash to clean my game saves?

I don't know whether it actually can edit the save files, but esmtool (included in the OpenMW source distribution, but not available with the Debian package distribution, at least) is made for editing esm and esp files.

Walkability-testing in OpenMW-CS

I just read this article and I just thought it might be of interest for the development of the CS: http://mollyrocket.com/casey/stream_0006.html The idea is to run algorithms which test which areas are walkable and how. I guess this could be expanded to testing for dead-ends by constructing a direct...
