Re: Transparent Object Markers

I like the look of the skinny markers. :)

The axial rotation marker is intriguing. I can imagine it being both beautiful and horrifying to use.

Re: Transparent Object Markers

The chunkiness is the result of needing to be able to click on them while far away. I don't quite follow how it would make precise positioning difficult though since you can see through them, could you explain further? When placing small items on surfaces, I used to rotate the camera extensively an...

Re: Transparent Object Markers

They seem overly chunky for small objects. I can imagine it would still make placing small items in precise positions harder.

The overlap on the arrow heads is a little off-putting, but making them partly transparent would be far better than chunky and solid.

OSGT object import experience

I thought I'd give modelling a shot, and using the OSGT format instead of NIF. Originally I had trouble getting the textures to export, then getting them to display, then getting the object to appear in the scene. This thread was originally me asking for help getting the texture to display, but then...

Re: New OpenMW-CS Icons

If you use a dice it is either going to be too small to see clearly, or too big you won't realise it is for a creature. An alternative is a ninja monkey since that is what the CS uses when you place leveled creature.

Re: New OpenMW-CS Icons

Can't we support some kind of vector-based icon format so the UI can be scaled according to what the OS suggests? A cursory googling suggests that Qt has some functionality by which allows icons to be loaded as SVG, and then rendered to a raster image at runtime (as using the SVG directly could be ...

Re: New OpenMW-CS Icons

I would go for option B and C. Currently the icons in the CS have been made by numerous people, myself included. They are all done with different styles and themes, and are all quite mismatched. I wanted to replace all the icons with a consistent style personally but I don't have the time so I would...

Re: OpenMW Bug Tracker Theme

It looks a lot nicer. Only bad thing I've noticed is that the crossed out lines through the closed bugs on the roadmap are a little hard to differentiate at a glance.
