The NifTools project is porting the Blender import/export plug-in to newer Blender versions. 8-)

It's not finished yet, but still.

A possibility to randomly change the pitch of sound effects and voice lines would be nice. The RPG Gothic did something like that as well, I think.

Is there anyone out there who actually likes MWScript? MWScript was so bad mainly because the compiler (from the original CS) sucks and doesn't tell you about some errors. This is extremely untenable. OpenMW wasn't written with dehardcoding in mind from the start, meaning each bit of dehardcoding is going to be an uphill battle, refactoring potentially major parts of the engine if you want to expose things to modders. I would recommend to use the "tcl" command to turn off/on the collision in the future. This way you can get unstuck and don't have to teleport somewhere else. ;-)
