Re: 2018

Yeah, I hear that. I wish a couple of guys could join the main crew long-term developers and leaders who had the time to support a GSOC student. I know SuperTuxKart has used GSOC several times to make necessary leaps in their project. I wonder what kind of a time commitment mentoring is? GSOC is a g...

Re: 2018

Wouldn't participating in GSOC 2018 for OpenMW-CS probably speed up development?

Re: Google Summer of Code 2018 Editor Development

Here is more information about how GSOC works for mentors. I'm not sure if anyone has the availability to do the mentoring. Though on the bugtracker Zini and others have often already provided rough outlines for different features. I bet students would be interested in the project. https://google.gi...

Google Summer of Code 2018 Editor Development

Hey all, GSOC 2018 starts in January. Why not try and get a student to work on a long-standing area of development for the editor. It might help speed things up. I doubt Bethesda would care if they worked on the game engine, but they'd probably be even less concerned if it was limited to the editor....

Re: OpenMW 0.43.0

I love the videos, Atahualpa. Always funny and informative. It's really cool seeing new developers give different tasks a go. I wonder if there is a way to get the attention of the classic gaming youtuber channels like lazy game reviews, metaljesusrocks, kim justice, game sack, classic gaming quarte...

Re: Woo-hoo, distant terrain is in the master.

Listen, Lysol, none of us feel good about this, but with distant terrain enabled I can see 1.0 on the horizon. Just spitballing here; Sacrifice him to a volcano? Maybe the Volcano god is real and that'll just help propel the momentum... Push him out on a block of ice into the arctic sea? Get him add...

Re: [U IX:R] Titans of Ether announcement?

I see. The licensing issues seem annoying. I hope something good comes out of all the work you are putting into tracking people down and organizing things. It might be useful if there was a quick and easy way to see in the OpenCS editor the license of assets. That way projects could filter them and ...

Re: [U IX:R] Titans of Ether announcement?

This is exciting. Are there any plans to use assets in the Example Suite? Or to rename it and remove things related to the Ultima series and bundle it with the OpenMW? -

That video is hilarious. Someone should link it to the elderscrolls or gaming reddit threads.
