Re: Addin database

The topic of mod compatibility and being able to better determine mod errors has been a common topic lately. Perhaps there is a way that we can offer a way to make mod conflicts easier to find? (That was my motivation behind my post here -> https://forum.openmw.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5671) Or perha...

Re: feature request finding mod conflict (multiple mod changing same object ID)

I saw your first reply and I kind of agreed that this would output false positives, and that it may not be that useful. After this reply, I tend to think it would be more useful than I thought: Honestly, false positives are fine. Sometimes I just really need to know what all is affecting a record or...

feature request finding mod conflict (multiple mod changing same object ID)

I don't know if this has been thought of and/or already is on the list for future development but I did not see it in the post 1.0 document. Would it be possible to upon starting a game in openmw to scan any/all mods loaded for conflicts? I know that that may sound like a large undertaking but what ...

No idea on the mod quest not working properly - but I wanted to chime in about the top pic :D :D . It looks like the guy is basically saying "no pictures" or "stop recording me" (or otherwise trying to shield his face from the picture that you are taking when you screenshot that).

Re: Dehardcode weapon types behaviour

If we really will do it, probably it would be better to setup default records first (with vanilla behaviour), and allow to override them or add new ones. If all added or modified weapon type records will be in the separate plugin, modder will be able to use new types either via OpenMW-CS or Enchant...

Re: A kind of crazy idea

BTW, is there a way to keep mods that add things like city expansions and lighthouses from needing updated? Like, is there certain cell data they rely on to know where they are in the game that can be moved with the current cells? Or is that not possible? Not sure if that was worded in a way that c...

Re: Attacking NPCs following player and smarter guards

This is currently not something that is available. I may be wrong, but I think that this could be scripted right now.

Re: Hiding traps

Greets! Is there a mod or comand to have the hide traps/locks level fix of the MCP? Cheers! This is not yet available. I think that this can be made available after 1.0, but I doubt that it would be possible to do this yet with scripting. ST PS - I was the one who petitioned Hrnchamd to have this a...

Re: Away over Christmas

As usual I will be away over Christmas. Not that this would make a great difference, since I have been more or less away over the last couple of weeks anyway (the usual, RL sucks). Hopefully that will turn out better again next year. Anyway, merry Christmas and a happy new year everyone. Merry Chri...
