Re: How do I create a new book with new content?

This link seems to talk about how this works in morrowind, should work the same in OpenMW --> https://calezane.home.xs4all.nl/mw/morromod.htm#tech11

Re: Script issues

From what I've heard, it's mostly spooky script sorcery, but not spooky in the way that we don't quite understand why it doesn't work. More in the way of using incorrect syntax, human errors such as mistakenly using an undefined value due to mistyping the name of a defined one and finally making us...

"Keep your feet on the ground" is a funny thing to say when talking about Morrowind - the last TES game to feature levitation.
In Mounrhold, levitation is forbidden so not to offend Almalexia, as Nobody may be higher than the Goddess

Re: Can't run openmw-launcher.exe Win10

So I searched google for that error in the screenshot you gave ("boost::filesystem::path codecvt to wstring error") and I found a link back to this forum recommending running system repair (https://forum.openmw.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3496&hilit=boost%3A%3Afilesystem%3A%3Apath+codecvt+to+wstring%3A+...

Re: Can't run openmw-launcher.exe Win10

The path shown in the directory shows "C:\Program Files\openmw" (disclaimer -- I am not familiar with windows 10 however hopefully this may still be useful) Windows vista/7 (and I think win 8) locks down program execution in C:\Program Files\ with UAC. It seemed to work just fine if you installed pr...

Re: Can't run openmw-launcher.exe Win10

I checked thru the post but I did find this answered, so I will ask it again slightly different: In those case when I can't run a binary, I try to run the exe from the shell to see if something happens did you try running the executable from the command line/shell? open a terminal/shell and cd to th...

Re: OpenMW performance vs Vanilla+MCP - are there any benchmarks/comparisons?

I know the majority of archive problems with Oblivion weren't fixed in New Vegas, and in my install of that, I have replacer archives which work (although I also have a few which don't, leading to a lot of raiders having boxer shorts on their chests).   pics or it didn't happen ST

Re: Example Suite version 0.17 released!

This is looking awesome. I would not worry about making them more colorful, just make them how you want to make them. I'm not sure if I understand what you mean "This is looking awesome"→you'd like colored textures I meant in reference to the pics shared, they look awesome. If that is the final pro...
