I'm not sure if we will ever implement object space normal maps. Why do you want to use them? TBH, I`m not clinging to world space normal maps. I`m not demanding it gets implemented. what ever you guys offer us is fine, we can work with that. Heck, beats vanilla Morrowind any time! Just...bump maps...

couldn`t get it to work, and I think it`s probably b/c I used code patcher to patch the .exe and enable some options with MSGO, so I probably just have to revert back to original, un-patched .exe. you patched openmw with code patch? :lol: Noooooo....I installed OpenMW and didn`t take in account tha...

You can't use world space normal maps for non static meshes. Object space normal map could work for a head (since it's not skinned, just moved/rotated) but they are not implemented. OpenMW and most games only support tangent space normal maps, and they have lots of advantages over object space anyw...
