Re: Hey let's switch away from bullet to anything else (discussion)

I don't expect to convince anyone by simply stating this however, anyone can have a great idea but what matters is actual results. For now I'd recommend adjusting how OpenMW uses Bullet to better fit its ideal conditions as that's more likely to get dividends in the short term. Meanwhile I'll hunke...

Re: Issue with forum session timeout force logout

On my phone (which is a Nokia 301 – Yes, I can afford a smartphone, but no, I don't want one) I've always had some issues with getting logged out. But if I don't check the remember me-button, I've started to get logged out the next time I refresh, even just seconds after. This is on my dumbphone of ...

Re: Need help with importing saved game

The save game importer was mostly just for testing purposes and not really useable, last I heard. It's just not finished yet, and no one has worked on it for years. So I'm sorry, but starting a new game is probably your best solution.

Nice screenshots! I like that you demonstrate one really important feature of OpenMW: Over 255 mods! This is cool. I can't remember anyone tried that before.

Re: The only way to replace Vanilla Engine (IMHO)

MGSO already works for the most part with the regular mods it contains. You just need to patch the fake bump mapped mods basically. Maybe something else too, haven't tried it myself, but several people have reported that it works except for shiny rocks and similar. So what is left? Well, MGSO instal...

Re: Recent Negativity Regarding OpenMW

Jesus fucking Christ, someone just shut this thread down. Gladly. Thread locked. Since this thread has since long derailed into something else than it began as, I'll lock this. If you'd like further discussion regarding PR, start a new thread or post in another relevant PR thread. If you'd like to ...

Re: The only way to replace Vanilla Engine (IMHO)

Careful, I've been keeping an eye on this thread, but nothing TamrielCitizen's said could be mistaken as cause to start a flamewar. For the most part, everyone in participation has been patient and civil, and no one has criticized anyone... until you posted this. Just be mindful that you don't cry ...

Re: NVIDIA open sources PhysX

Hmm, maybe we should try to find some kind of "official" discussion thread about this subject, since this has been discussed at several channels at the discord server, at least once in the irc server, and at least here on the forums. Most interesting discussion was probably at the irc server. A copy...

Re: CPU and Single Core Implications

What does it have to do with anything?

Well, other than that the navmeshes are calculated in a separate thread... Well, multi-core.
