Re: Low FPS while outside (tes3mp)

Press F3 a couple of times to get detailed information on why the FPS is slow. I would guess it is the physics that hits the roof, it's usually the case. If it's not specifically the physics thread that causes it, you might get helped if you use this mod.

I think 2018 will be the year of the OpenMW 1.0 release.

Re: Texture upscaling mod question

Great! That was my main concern. As for the rest, I completely agree. It will never be as good as a good texture made from scratch at a higher resolution, but with an artistic filter hopefully I can get rid of some of the sloppiness. One more related question. Re: Texture upscaling mod question

A quick reply, sorry if I didn't read your post carefully enough: As long as you upscale a texture while keeping the proportions (preferably by the power of two), it will stretch over the mesh properly. It won't necessarily get rid of jagged pixels though. Just simply upscaling textures doesn't real...

Re: Ho ho ho!

You mean the multiplayer branch? The plan (sorta) was mostly to wait until TES3MP is fully finished before the two projects might merge.

Re: Russian news page is out of date (last news is 0.40)

Get someone who knows Russian to translate a generic release announcement that a non-Russian speaker could easily substitute with a new release version and hyperlink. This would mean the Russian release announcements would lack the bullet points that those of other languages do and every release wo...

Welcome! I'm not a developer myself, but I can still point you to the developer checklist.
