Yes, the Overgrowth approach is really cool. IIRC, Overgrowth's code is open source, even though the assets are not. So I guess one could easily take a look at the code and see what's going on behind the animations?

Moved to off topic. Anyway, while this sounds really neat, I also believe that releasing this tool is a quick way to get loads of hate from the modding scene. Maybe release 1.0 with 32 bit support and then drop it? So that at least a final, fully Morrowind engine-replacing version for 32 bit exists..? I dunno...

GTA V uses bullet IIRC, so there's nothing wrong with bullet by itself. They say the documentation for bullet is horrible however, so the cause is more likely OpenMW's implementation of it.

That's what has been said about this before at least.

I feel that while Daggerfall was really huge both gameplay wise and geography wise, the technology really couldn't deliver that well what the developers wanted to deliver.
