Travelling murderer problem: planning a Morrowind all-faction speedrun with simulated annealing

Well, not even last night's storm could wake you. I heard them say we've reached Morrowind, I'm sure they'll let us go and do a speedrun. This guy has a whole series dedicated to Morrowind and how to systematically find the best way to speedrun Morrowind without cheats. Project Morrowind (part1 of ...

Re: Cannot Create file when file already exists

That's not really what I'd call solved. Worked around, maybe, but you might be screwed if your computer dies now. Hahahaha... pretty much what everyone has been doing for years now unless you had a backup drive. I still don't trust 'the cloud' with my personal stuff, and I work in the industry. The...

Re: OpenGEX as .Nif alternative for OpenMW

Nice, thanks. :) As said earlier in this thread, someone just needs to step up with the desire to add this to OpenMW. Could this be you? Ideally... OpenGEX, glTF and Collada support would be great. :) We would get this for free if it was supported by OSG. https://github.com/jesesun/osgdb_gltf <-- gl...

I say we go with GLTF 2.0 as it is quickly being adopted as an industry standard.
Citation needed.

Re: Free-licensed game in OpenMW engine?

The Template project I started, sub-project from the Example-Suite is CC-BY 4.0

https://bugs.openmw.org/projects/examplesuite/files

That being said, there are lots of other resources out there that are CC0.

Re: Free-licensed game in OpenMW engine?

Be sure to talk with Destined about this, as he is heading up the Example-Suite and Template projects. A lot of time and effort has been put into that people can use those as a springboard to making their own game. Don't forget the time and effort put into tracking down the authors of various mods w...

Re: XL Engine source code release!

GLEW helps on Windows, where even standard versions need to be loaded through extensions (because MS hasn't updated opengl32.dll in years, so basically all functions need to be retrieved from the ICD). It automatically handles loading extensions for us, which will be useful with future work on the ...
