Re: Heads up...

Ok, no problem. Destined said that issue renumbering wouldn't be a problem. The template project is with the ES, one is the bare minimum to get started making a game, the other is our demo.

Re: Heads up...

Migration is complete of openmw issues and their comments. :) Zini, may I also migrate the openmw ES and Template issues over as well? We can tag them Example-Suite and Template accordingly, I think there are about 30 or so. Or would you rather have this as another project? I personally believe that...

Re: OpenMW 0.44.0

The openmw-44 branch has fixes for MacOS, so that is no longer a blocker for MacOS.

Do we need another round of RCs because of the change in code? The code path shouldn't technically be touched unless using OSG => 3.5.8 or MacOS

Is it a manual process to sync the repos or is that automated, too?
The repos are easy, git clone... done.

Redmine to GL is more interesting. I tried other tools, but they were old and broken. I've re-written a lot of stuff and will post what I used to automate the migration online.

Re: The Future of OpenMW Scripting

OK, how does older MWSE extensions and newer MWSE extension fit into this now? Will OpenMW support older MWSE extensions via newscript(Lua) as well? Or could we dig up the old PR here: https://github.com/OpenMW/openmw/pull/75 It's also what NullCascade keeps pointing out that there are still mods be...

Re: Heads up...

Something interesting... GL has support for something called "Helpdesk" or "Servicedesk". We could turn this on and use it to help our end-users who have questions about OpenMW. This builds up a knowledge base that end-users can also use a resource instead of reading the FAQ or asking questions in t...

0.45.0 is already at 50 closed issues, more than half what 0.44.0 has. We are catching up to you guys. Run! Run!

Okay, just kidding.
When do we start the RC for 0.45?

Re: The Future of OpenMW Scripting

I am 99% sure this won't be possible (see the section about Cells, Workspaces & Areas for example). I see, meaning that there will be things that really aren't of interest to Morrowind modders anyway? We would then have to make it clear in the API what is Morrowind and MWSE compatible and what is O...
