Re: has anyone received any updates lately?

Already addressed in another thread, but yeah... we know the PPA daily is broken. It's going to take time to figure out. We use the debian repo to help build the releases, but it is expecting files to be there that aren't anymore in master. I'm still trying to think of an appropriate solution, but t...

Re: Qt4 going away in Debian

Thanks guys, I was wondering Scrawl could help here since he was the one I talked to about this years ago when originally creating the Debian packages. If it is no longer an non-issue, then we'll switch to building Qt4 by default... and we should probably abandon Qt4 in our code anyway to move on to...

https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=Debian-Buster-Wants-To-Drop-Qt4 Debian developers are still hoping they will be able to remove the Qt4 tool-kit during the Debian 10 "Buster" development cycle. While there is still some open and proprietary software continuing to use the Qt4 tool-...

Re: confused, do I have OpenMW 0.42 or not?

You're correct, the daily is currently broken due to a change in file location in master. I've fixed this in Debian (which it syncs from) and waiting for it to propagate.

Re: MCP 2.3 & 2.4

Great news otherwise, but I moved this topic since MCP itself doesn't have anything to do with the technical development of OpenMW.

Re: confused, do I have OpenMW 0.42 or not?

Looks like you have the daily ppa installed, hence the *git* in the package name.

Re: OpenMW fails to compile with gcc-7

Thanks for verifying with me. I wish I had my DM powers... just waiting for a DD to sign my keys then I can do a lot of these Debian package rebuilds myself instead of having to wait for someone to not be on holiday. ;) Cheers! As for performance, I don't know... possible, but I would expect anythin...
