Yes, that is the side effect of the new vcredist and that has to be installed before you can use 0.47

Once installed, then nightlies and 0.48 will be fine and won't ask you to reboot.

Blame windows and their need to reboot just for changing out DLL files.

Can have a pre-flight check to see if the root bone is indeed 'root'? At some point we have to tell modellers that this is a requirement for animation. OpenMW makes a few assumptions as a start, so we could ask modellers to also do the same if they wish to see their work working in OpenMW? I'm prett...

Honestly...I would love to drop bionic. ;)

Anyway, it comes down the fact that we put Qt 5.12 as the min version to have but Bionic does not have this. So I have to figure out a way to get it building again.

I made a new branch in debian that has a few 'fixes' to work around in bionic. We'll carry these for a few years I guess... packing issues. :roll:

I thought the plan was to implement OpenMW-Lua, try and implement a MWScript-to-OpenMW-Lua transpiler, ditch the MWScript interpreter, and then implement later games' scripting languages as transpilers, too.
